You can win a game of Holdem in many different ways. Some Holdem tactics are more effective than others. However, the problem lies in determining which ones work well and which ones don’t.

You really need discipline to succeed at the level of complexity found at this level, and flexibility is very important at this level, as you will be able to change up your game very quickly.

Another of the newer areas of lucrative Holdem tactics is what I call player segmentization. Segmenting players out and into groups for targeting is a very successful tactic if utilized properly.
When you segment players into groups you can more easily target them with more confidence if you know the membership of the group in which they are in. If you don’t have a good understanding of who the members of your groups are you will not be able to segment them the proper way.

When you segment players into groups, the opponents that you want to target can be very different every time the hand rolls around. This is a lot harder to do in live games than online, but the results are far greater when you can succeed with this strategy.
Now, I am sure you are realizing there is a lot more to developing winning Holdem tactics than just this, and that is why you are probably finding yourself losing a lot of money at the poker table. Developing winning Holdem tactics means using a lot of different areas of your skill and capitalizing on them. The more areas you use the more effective your strategy will be.
